The Spokesperson of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Campaign Council, Dino Melaye, has reacted to the workout video of the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu.
Naija News had reported that Tinubu in the video released via his Twitter handle on Sunday, denied reports that he has withdrawn from the 203 presidential race.
In a statement released alongside the video, Tinubu stated that he is strong, healthy and ready to serve Nigerians from day one in office.
“Many have said I have died; others claim I have withdrawn from the presidential campaign.
“Well… Nope. This is the reality: I am strong, I am healthy and I am READY to serve Nigerians from Day One,” he had said.
The video comes amid concerns over his whereabouts, following his absence at the signing of the peace accord for the 2023 elections and the postponement of the inauguration of the APC presidential campaign council.
Reacting to the development via his Twitter handle on Monday, Melaye suggested that the former Governor of Lagos State is suffering from Parkinson’s disease.
He wrote: “Why Emilokan dey bike…Read,” with a screenshot of an article on Parkinson’s disease patients.

2023: Tinubu’s Work Out Video Being Circulated Without His Knowledge- Umahi
The Governor of Ebonyi State, David Umahi, has claimed that the workout video of Tinubu was being circulated without his consent.
Speaking on Monday during a guest appearance on Channels Television’s Sunrise Daily programme, Umahi said the APC presidential candidate’s video shouldn’t attract unnecessary attention.
The Ebonyi governor added that Tinubu is fit to lead the country in 2023, asking Nigerians to disregard rumours of his ill health.
Umahi said many Nigerians questioning his state of mind for the nation’s top job are being petty.
He said: “Nobody is totally well and nobody is totally sick. That is one point. Another point is that Nigerians are so petty. A man that is doing his workout is being videoed and circulated on social media without his knowledge.
“I don’t think we should concentrate on intangibles because life is like a bus and you don’t know where the next bus stop is. Some of the people talking about the health of leaders of this country do not even know where their own bus stop is coming from. Every life and death rests in the hands of God.”
