A former lawmaker, Abdulmumin Jibrin, on Friday, revealed the edge the presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Rabiu Kwankwaso, has over the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential flagbearer, Bola Tinubu.
According to Jibrin, Kwankwaso has more experience and exposure than the APC presidential candidate.
He also noted that Kwankwaso would do the same thing he did as the Governor of Kano State when he emerge as President.
Jibrin said the qualities of Kwankwaso whom he described as his political mentor are visible for everyone to see.
The spokesman of Kwankwaso’s campaign, while speaking on Channels TV, said, “What I have always maintained is that Kwankwaso has an edge, clearly has an edge.
“In terms of experience, in terms of the responsibilities that he’s held, in terms of exposure, in terms of what he has achieved as governor, everything that we are saying, that Kwankwaso is going to do is what he has done as a governor.
“Relating to the case of Bola Tinubu, I have said it much earlier; I’ve never taken back any word I have said about Tinubu, but I have moved to another party, reunited with my political mentor who I have always believed has an edge over them.
“And these things are all things that can be seen clearly.”
