The lawmaker representing Imo West senatorial district, Rochas Okorocha has completed the presidential screening of the All Progressives Congress.
The former Governor of Imo State stormed the venue of the screening, Transcorp Hilton, Abuja around 10 pm on Tuesday.
Okorocha accessed the presidential screening after meeting the bail condition granted to him by a Federal High Court on Tuesday.
A Federal High Court in Abuja had granted Okorocha bail in the sum of N500 million and a surety in like sum.
This is coming after the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission filed a 17-count charge against the former Governor.
Okorocha was screened by the presidential screening committee led by the former national chairman of the party, John Odigie-Oyegun.
The presidential aspirant after the screening appreciated his supporters for standing by him and insisted that Nigeria needs a detribalised leader like him to pilot the affairs of the nation.
Speaking on the case before the EFCC, Okorocha promised to address the media in the coming days.
Okorocha would be hoping to clinch the presidential ticket of the APC ahead of the likes of Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, the national leader of the party, and Bola Tinubu, former minister of transportation, Rotimi Amaechi and others.
