    2023 Presidency: Adamu Gives Update On Zone That Will Produce APC Presidential Candidate

    The National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Abdullahi Adamu has disclosed that the party is yet to take a decision on the zone that will produce its 2023 presidential candidate.
    Adamu made the disclosure on Friday at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa shortly after presenting the party’s candidate for the 2022 Ekiti governorship election, Biodun Oyebanji, to President Muhammadu Buhari.

    Addressing State House correspondents, the APC Chairman said he can’t preempt the region that the presidential ticket will be zoned to.

    2023: Ken Nnamani Joins Presidential Race

    A former Senate President, Ken Nnamani on Friday officially declared his intention to contest in the 2023 presidential election under the All Progressives Congress.

    Nnamani announced his intention to take over from President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023 during a press conference held in Abuja.

    According to the former Senate President, he will purchase the nomination forms of the ruling party in a couple of days.

    2023: Oshiomhole Drops Senate Ambition For Presidency

    The former national chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Adams Oshiomhole has shed his ambition to contest for a seat in the Senate.

    Oshiomhole, however, in a post on his Facebook account said he would formally declare for presidency today on live TV.

    2023 presidential aspirant, Aminu Tambuwal has revealed why he was not in agreement with President Muhammadu Buhari’s style of leadership.

    The politician who is serving his second term as the Governor of Sokoto State said he wouldn’t have agreed with Buhari with the way his government has ruled Nigeria over the last seven years.

    Tambuwal said Buhari’s poor leadership and the affairs of the ruling All Progressive Congress pushed him out of the party to join forces with the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

    A former Kaduna Central Senator, Shehu Sani, has been cleared by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Screening Committee to contest the Kaduna governorship primaries.

    The governorship aspirant was screened on Thursday, April 28, 2022, at the party’s State Secretariat in the Kaduna metropolis.
