2023 Presidency: Nigerians React As Buhari Support Group Hints On APC’s Anointed Candidate

An All Progressives Congress, APC support group that was created purposely to promote President Muhammadu Buhari’s next level agenda, has given a hint on the party’s anointed candidate for the 2023 general elections.

Naija News reports that the group via its Twitter page [@APCNigeria] which has over a million followers, posted a cap which is known to be styled by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, hailing its owner.

The post having hailed the person that wears the cap, also prayed to God to protect and keep the individual safe.

The Twitter post reads: “The simple man who wears this cap has an uncommon grace and anointing. May God protect and keep him safe and away from evil, Amen!”

Naija News understands that the post has since generated a barrage of reactions on social media as Nigerians slammed the handler of the APC support group page.

Recall that Professor Osinbajo is seeking to succeed President Buhari in the coming presidential election. The Presidential aspirant appeared before the APC presidential screening committee on Tuesday ahead of the party’s primaries.

His top contender, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, had been screened a day earlier, Naija News recalls.

However, the post on Wednesday morning by the APC support handle is insinuating that maximum support is given to the VP.

Nigerians on the microblogging platform have since registered their concerns about the post and as well given their verdict ahead of the 2023 general elections.

See some of the reactions below:

“He can’t win anywhere,” one Omenesa Muhammed [@Ohmsmaestro] tweeted.

Another netizen who was reacting to a user of the bird app about an alleged agenda by the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) to promote Osinbajo’s presidency, JIKAN WAZIRI [@mkadamu3] tweeted: “I even buried the agenda after it’s death last week.”
