A human rights activist and social commentator, Deji Adeyanju has submitted that presidential candidates, Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP) and Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), can’t win the 2023 presidential election.
He stated that as things stand currently, Obi and Kwankwaso will struggle to win Anambra and Kano States respectively, adding that none of the two candidates can win two states in Nigeria during the presidential election.
According to Adeyanju in a Twitter post on Tuesday, this is because the bigger parties will unleash vote-buying and disenfranchise voters.
He wrote: “As at today, Peter Obi or Kwankwaso can’t even win 2 states each in Nigeria. It will be serious battle for Obi to win Anambra because they will unleash vote buying on the state and disenfranchise voters too. Kwankwaso too will struggle in Kano. APC has 22 Govs, PDP 13, APGA 1.”

Meanwhile, Governor Charles Soludo of Anambra State has denied mocking the Presidential candidate of the Labour party (LP), Peter Obi, over his presidential aspiration.
Some news platforms (Not Naija News) had quoted the governor as saying that the LP will labour in vain and its presidential candidate cannot win the 2023 elections.
Soludo in a statement on Monday by his media aide, Christian Aburime, dismissed the report and said the statement credited to him is totally false and unfounded.
Aburime stated that the report was a total misrepresentation of Governor Soludo’s speech during his interaction with some audience after his 100 days in office media broadcast.
