There has been some major uproar from the public and institutions demanding reasons why the All Progressive Party (APC) Candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu was absent from the presidential debate that was held at the Presidential Town Hall venue.
Other presidential candidates were also invited to the debate hosted by AriseTV. The purpose of the debate was to inform and show Nigerians their take on the security issues going on in the country and how to curb it.
While some negative claims have been ongoing as to why a presidential candidate was absent, some major lessons are to be learned on the reason why Bola Ahmed Tinubu was absent. Everyone understands that we are in a critical time, and knowing the level of its importance is needed.
The Pure Fact
It is never the wish of any political aspirant to be absent from an opportunity to showcase to the masses why they should stand with him or her. But, at critical times like this, some measures are to be put in place to make sure that progress is made without failing.
Acknowledgment of a Visionary
The presidential candidate of the All Progressive Party (APC) Bola Ahmed Tinubu acknowledged that his absence was for a reason;
- Which is to avoid combative spectacles with people who are bent on attacking the election system without a piece of evidence. People who wanted him to appear at the Presidential debate didn’t come to him to speak on his plans, but to create a scene where he would be attacked with conspiracies against his aim to become president.
- Another reason is to show off humility by not coming to brag before Nigerians while attending to other urgent matters arising in other areas of his campaign. It is very important to understand this because lots of people feel cheated by the present government on unfulfilled promises. Bola Ahmed Tinubu is making sure to take extra effort in making things right for Nigerians. This I believe to be applauded by everyone that understands dimensions.
- The timing factor is also critical. The timing wasn’t right for the presidential candidate of the All Progressive Party (APC) Bola Ahmed Tinubu to present himself before the panel for the debate. The presidential candidate Bola Ahmed Tinubu is always responding to invites all over the country proving he is the ideal man for the job. We all just need to follow true leadership and let due course play its role in our growth.
We all must learn how to survive critical times. This can only be done by a true warrior and an epitome of light to brighten every tough situation. We know him, we have seen his works, and we can predict the future. So, make it happen with your votes and create history differently.
Bola Ahmed Tinubu is here to stay. So, we must harness his wisdom and knowledge in making things happen. No matter how bad it gets, he has the willingness to get bad happenings turned into a pretty situation Vote APC, and share the experience. It’s nothing less than excellence.
