The two factions of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State have continued to trade blames over the party’s situation in the south-western state.

Naija News reports the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Ademola Adeleke recently won the Osun State governorship election, defeating incumbent Governor Gboyega Oyetola of the APC.

Many political observers believe the crisis within the APC caused by the fight between the loyalists of the Governor and those of the Minister of Interior and former state Governor, Rauf Aregbesola is largely responsible for the development.

The leader of the group, Alhaji Rasaq Salinsile who made this known on Wednesday added that they met with the National Chairman of the party, Abdullahi Adamu, for reconciliation but their efforts were not successful.
