The Ondo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has lost a House of Representatives aspirant, Adeyeri Stephen Kunle.
Adeyeri, who contested for the APC ticket to represent Akoko South West/South East federal constituency, resigned from the party on Tuesday.
The politician, while giving the reason for dumping the party, said he does not want to be part of the unconstitutionality and arbitrariness oscillating portrayed in the party.
Adeyeri announced his resignation from the party while addressing newsmen on Tuesday in Akure, the Ondo State Capital.
He appreciated the state Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu and the party Chairman in the state, Ade Adetimehin for the privilege to be a member of the party.
According to Adeyeri, he had seized been a member of the party since the 12th of July, 2022, in respect to his resignation letter.
He further stated that he joined the race for the party’s ticket due to pressures from patriotic citizenry.
Adeyeri noted that in his move to clinch the ticket of the party he extended hands of charity to environs under the constituency.
He, however, accused the party of failing to provide a level playing field for aspirants, hence the need for him to dump the party.
The aspirant added that he would announce his next move after much pondering, adding that he has left APC with his supporters.
